As announced back in December 2010, a software update will enable "pinch-to-zoom" (multitouch limited to 2 simultanous touchpoints) on the X10. This update is now rolling out.

Xperia X10 will get pinch-to-zoom feature!

Sony Ericsson today confirmed that it is working on enabling a basic multitouch feature called 'pinch to zoom' for the Xperia X10 with a OTA firmware upgrade sometime in the first quarter of 2011.
