Wired & Wireless PC-synchronization for Android phones - for free!

mpe-03

The freeware tool 'MyPhoneExplorer' has just been updated to support Android phones, including the Xperia X10 and the Minis. The connection between the PC and the Android phones works via USB cable, or - even better - via WLAN! If you feel uncomfortable to sync your phone's contacts and calendar via Google's services, this software might be for you.

The latest version provides the following features:

  • Adressbook - with direct sync to Outlook, GMail, Windows contacts, Thunderbird, SeaMonkey, Lotus Notes and Tobit David
  • Organizer with calendarview and direct sync to Outlook, Google, Sunbird, Thunderbird, SeaMonkey, Windows calendar(Vista), Rainlendar, Lotus Notes, Tobit David and net shared calendars (WebDAV, FTP, local)
  • SMS - archive, export, import, excessive messages,...
  • Filebrowser with cachesystem to minimize datatransfer, automatic photosync...
  • Set phoneclock based on atomtime
  • and much more, e.g.: calllists, edit profiles, control phone, memorystatus, phonemonitor,...

You can download the freeware tool here (please consider a donation though, the developer spends a lot of his time on this neat product):

Please note that for the Android devices, you need to install the MyPhoneExplorer Client first. It is available for free in the Android Market, for your convenience, here is the QR code:
