Sony Ericsson has published another video of the upcoming Android 2.1 firmware upgrade. This time, you can get impression of the changes in Timescape, as well as the upgraded unified contact handling. Video after the break.
After we got some insight into Widgets and HD recording in the first video of the series, we can now have a look at the timescape changes, as well as the upgraded phone book features. The latter brings a more unified view on the phone owner's contacts, putting the person behind the contact at the center of the stage. It is now possible to view someone's facebook status directly in the contact list, as well as a faster access to other social network services.
The changes in Timescape are of minor nature. It looks like the performance got better, and long text passages that do not fit into a tile are now auto-scrolling.
