With our free Android News Alert App, you will get an immediate notification each time there is some news on se-first.com. And for all you gadget lovers out there: the app comes with a plugin for the upcoming LiveView display!

It has always been our goal to get the latest news for all Sony Ericsson related stuff to you before anyone else. But even if the news is on the site, you still have to become aware of it. Wouldn't it be cool to get notified immediately after we publish something new? That's why we developed the News Alert Android App. Below are some screenshots which should give you an idea of how the app works:

The frequency with which the app polls for news can be adjusted in the Settings. If 'Manually' is chosen, there is no automatic checking for news. As with all apps that connect to the internet regularly, please be aware that with a higher frequency, battery consumption will increase, and so will data traffic obviously.

One more thing: since we know that there are a lot of gadget freaks out there who will be getting their hands on one of those LiveView Bluetooth displays, we decided to add a LiveView plugin for the News Alert App! This plugin will make sure that you get notified on the remote mini display at the same time as your phone notifies you of a new post on se-first.com. You can read the title and a short introduction of the article that has been published. In order to read the full article, a quick click on the "send to phone" icon on the LiveView mini display points the browser on your phone to the right address. Confused?
